Biography	Kamisaka Sekka (1866–1942) was a Japanese-style painter and graphic designer born in Kyoto. He was named Yoshitaka. He studied under Suzuki Zuigen of the Shijo school and learned craft design from Kishi Kokei. He researched the Rimpa school and was strongly influenced by it. He founded the Katami-kai association. His younger brother was the maki-e artist Kamisaka Yūkichi. He also served as an instructor at the Kyoto Municipal School of Arts and Crafts. Ichinose Shobei IV (dates of birth and death unknown) was a cabinetmaker from Kyoto. The Ichinose family was a branch of the Komazawa Rissai family, one of the ten hereditary craftsmen (Senke Jisshoku) serving the tea masters of the Sen family, and was known by the name “Sashiko,” referring to his work as a sashimono craftsman.
