Biography Yoshinaka Taizo(1928-1985) was a Western-style painter born in Kyoto prefecture. He enrolled in the painting department of the Kyoto Humanities Academy, where he continued to exhibit his work and received the Kodo Art Prize, later becoming an associate member of the Kodo Art Association. He subsequently relocated to Tokyo and became an associate member of the Nika Art Association. He participated in numerous exhibitions and held solo shows throughout his career. After his death, large-scale retrospective exhibitions and other shows of his work have continued to be held.
